You likely have an antivirus/firewall/security program installed that is configured to disallow running programs that require automatic connections to the internet. To remedy this situation, you need to add the name of the TigerLogic ChunkIt! update program (TLChunkItUpd.exe for Internet Explorer users or TLChunkItFirefoxUpd.exe for Firefox users on TigerLogic ChunkIt! version 1.1.0.0065 and prior to the list of allowed programs in your antivirus/firewall/security program (see your antivirus/firewall/security program documentation for more information). |

TigerLogic ChunkIt! provides automatic updates to its software. To apply automatic updates, the Java service (Java(TM) Platform SE Binary) downloads and installs new updates by connecting to the internet. In some cases, you may receive this message because your internet connection was lost during the update. However, you may have received it because you have an antivirus/firewall/security program installed that has previously been configured to block the Java service from connecting to the internet. To allow the Java service to connect to the internet, you need to unblock the Java service from your antivirus/firewall/security program. If you do not know how to unblock a service, see your antivirus/firewall/security program’s documentation or contact their customer support department. |
