| After uninstalling my Google™ toolbar, why is TigerLogic ChunkIt! no longer available? | TigerLogic ChunkIt! is still installed, but may have been marked as not visible along with other toolbars. To enable: For Internet Explorer 6 Select Toolbars > TigerLogic ChunkIt! from the View menu. For Internet Explorer 7 Select Toolbars > TigerLogic ChunkIt! from the Tools menu. |
| TigerLogic ChunkIt! didn’t find any chunks in a web page that I’m certain contains matching words. Why not? | ChunkIt! may not support chunking the content for that page. For example, ChunkIt! does not support chunking Flash content, which may be where the content you’re seeing is located. Flash content will be supported in an upcoming release, but in some cases the content may not be in a format supported by ChunkIt! |
| TigerLogic ChunkIt! isn’t returning chunks from my Hotmail™ page, banking site, etc. Why can’t it see that content? | ChunkIt! does not support chunking certain content (for example, content that requires you to login to a web site that tracks personal information about you maintained in browser cookies). This will be supported in a user-controllable manner in an upcoming release. |
| Why are all of the links removed when chunking links? | If no relevant content is found within the link using your search criteria, the link will be removed from the list. If none of the link contents match your search criteria, all links may be removed. In such cases, you should refine your search options and/or keywords and repeat the search by clicking Chunk Links (if the page is displayed in browser) or Chunk Right-Page Links (if the page is displayed in the right panel). |
| When searching with ChunkIt!, instead of getting chunked results underneath the main web site result, I get the message "The host name for this resource could not be resolved. The site may no longer be available or may be temporarily experiencing difficulties". Why does this occur? | The network requires a Proxy Server. Support for proxy will be available soon in an upcoming release of TigerLogic ChunkIt!. |
| When attempting to open Internet Explorer, my Home page does not display and I get the following Internet Explorer Security message referencing the ChunkItUpd.exe program. Why does this happen? “A website wants to open web content using this program on your computer.“ |
When Internet Explorer is opened, TigerLogic ChunkIt will automatically attempt to connect to the TigerLogic website to check if any updates are available. If you see this message, select the “Do not show me the warning for this program again“ check box and then click Allow to prevent the message from displaying when you start Internet Explorer. |
