Cool Example #5 - Craigslist
You just relocated to San Francisco from Detroit and you're looking for the ideal apartment. Without realizing how high rents can be in the city by the bay, you start by looking for a nice two-bedroom apartment with a nice view of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Go to www.craigslist.org.
Choose San Francisco as the city.
On the Craigslist page, click on apts / housing. Then, search for a 2-bedroom unit with view Golden Gate Bridge as your search keywords.
With the built-in search tool on Craigslist, you've narrowed the apartments that meet your criteria down to 51 choices.
That's good, except there are a couple of issues. First, you have to open and read each of the listings to get a good description of each unit. Second, these apartments don't necessarily have a view of the Golden Gate Bridge. You'll rapidly discover that many of these listings take your keywords out of context and are suggesting apartments with "views from porch", "golden hardwood floors", and "easy access to Golden Gate Bridge". They don't necessarily deliver what you want -
2 bedroom units with views of the Golden Gate Bridge.
